Critical Thinking Challenge: "How could being a Canadian citizen affect your individual identity or collective identity?"
Many of use are who we are because of where we've lived, who we've met and talked to and the multitude of experiences we've had in our life. For many young people, collective and individual identity is reflective of their upbringings. Why do we, as Canadians, value certain things over others? How does this change how we respond to government policy or issues in our country and world?
Note: Identity can be both collective and individual; it does not have to be one or the other.
