How did the Quebec Act lay the foundation for the Canada we live in today? Provide at least 3 possible examples.

It changed the law for freedom of religion and we have the right for different religions. Finally others/different rights have been recognized.

I think it kinda connected us.we were kinda like a bridge with the French and british.and it may have helped the two get along a little better.Plus it gave us the freedom of religion.which is highly important to me

Since the Quebec act some things stayed the same. Some are that now French is one of our official languages in Canada, obviously Catholics get the freedom of religion and can hold government jobs, catholic churches get property of tithe.

I think that Québec act was very important for Canada's history, since then nothing huge has changed. I am glad that Canada has freedom of speech and religion. I thought that it wasn't fair for the French to only get a very small portion of land and I think it is a great thing that they got more land. it was great that they always gave the first nations land but it wasn't quite fair how they stole land, they could have at least asked. in conclution I believe that the quebec act was fair and good for everyone

It gave the French some of their rights and culture back, it made us a bilingual country, and with out it, we wouldent learn feench or this chapter might not be very interseting.

Christianity was no longer prohibited and they could pray if they wanted. French civil laws were used in matters of property, inheritance, and to settle disputes. Also French language rights were recognized
