Success in high school foods...
Foods class is easy right? All you do is make cookies and stuff right? Well...not quite. I've often taken for granted being able to understand recipes and know how to modify or adjust a recipe if it looks "off". Now, on the opposite end of the spectrum as a teacher, I realize that I may be a rare breed. I have some advice for new cooks and bakers: 1. Read your recipe first 2. Keep your measurement tools consistent. 3. Go slowly. 4. Check your recipe twice. 5. FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS. That is all. For now...
